Tried updating bios, resetting bios, toggling UEFI and CSM, booting from USB, reseating all components to no avail. Test that you see it as an option from your other machine and can boot it. I plugged my chrome os flex bootable usb into my chromebook and tried booting the usb option with chrome os flex on it, it took me to another screen with 5 options. At first all was going well. it does contains the information of the drive (name of the drive, capacity of the drive etc) so the computer does read the drive information. But if the SSD inside the deck is not bootable (for example when you replace the deck's SSD), you can just power the deck normally without the volume button , it will automatically select and boot the SD or USB stick. Same, it happened for a bit about month ago then suddenly it started working. All that I can do is just hold Power button to force PC to shut down. Even if I shutdown my PC and come back to it later in the day, it doesn't experience the restart. TLDR PC has been freezing on first boot up for a week.
